We have all been patiently waiting for some updates on the takeover of Charlton Athletic by Matt Southall, Tahnoon Nimer and Jonathan Heller and whilst waiting patiently we finally got some news.
On Instagram, Tahnoon Nimer posted a picture of the Charlton badge on his account which leads us all to believe the takeover is now done and the final preparations are being put in place for this very special announcement which will bring a sense of pride back to The Valley after a treacherous reign under Roland Duchaetelet.
As of today Tahnoon Nimer posted another picture of the big Charlton badge outside of the ground which can point to two things, one he is at The Valley today or two he’s taken a picture from the internet and posted it online, personally, I think he might actually be there well at least that’s wishful thinking on my part.
Have not seen any evidence on Twitter or Facebook about a visit at The Valley from Nimer, but the image he posted today is most likely from Google, however with the negotiations hitting this stage in the proceedings it would not be a surprise to see a visit from His Excellency himself.
Let’s see how this develops but could we see a confirmation as soon as today? I’m sure we all hope so!
