Details emerge as EFL decision draws closer

|

How many years is it going to take for the EFL to confirm this takeover? It certainly seems like years as we count down the days for a decision to be made, but all we have now are some small details to go on.

Richard Cawley has today confirmed that the ESI and Matt Southall have all had their interviews with the EFL as the takeover draws ever closer to its conclusion.

Us Addicks have been on the edge of our seats as our full celebrations get delayed day by day, but apparently everything is going according to plan, so no cause for concern just yet. (Just calm down everyone!)

I cant see these lot getting turned away by The EFL, I mean just look at who they have let run clubs in the past, Steve Dale a man who single-handedly liquidated around 50 business before his takeover of Bury for a quid, which also saw the end of Bury football club and Owen Oyston less said about him the better.

Of course, they also let Roland Dchatelet run Charlton which was also controversial after being involved in the running of 5 other clubs as he bought Charlton all of which wanted him out.

Meetings will be had, hands will be shaken and conversations will be had, but we will get our redemption soon?
