To many Preston fans dismay, Sky Sports have moved the fixture from 3 pm 2nd of November to 12 pm 3rd of November which has caused an uproar from both sets of supporters as Sky once again make it hard for supporters to get to such an early kick-off.
It does seem like an odd fixture to televise, but I can understand Sky Sports see it as an occasion seeing as Patrick Bauer will make his first appearance at The Valley for the opposition.
But what Sky Sports need to understand is that people have probably already booked train tickets and made plans which by no choice of the fans have now been scrapped, in an age where football is at it’s most popular it seems to be forgetting about the people who got it there in the first place. The fans.
It’s sad really that these big corporations always think of themselves before the fans and it’s situations like this where the beautiful game goes ugly and things like this need to be kept to a minimum.
If I was a Preston fan who had already sorted out travel I would be outraged as all these train companies also love this kind of thing happening as they don’t really do refunds. Quids in for them!
Now let’s get on to what you The Charlton and Preston fans have had to say about this –

Also disasterous for Preston fans as they can't actually get down to London.

Feel sorry for the #pne fans having to get up at the crack of dawn https://t.co/nwwmFttPHN

A show of distain when this is read out tomorrow on the PA is the least we can do given how many fans have been totally f***** over by Sky, EFL and even our own club.
I'd advocate a boycott of the game for #pnefc fans but that will just start a colossal argument. https://t.co/xhXC3H6AXW

It's a shame they couldn't put a special train on the Sunday for this for the hundreds that have already booked with virgin trains #pnefc

Well that's ruined one of the better away days #pnefc

@SkyFootball @SkyOne sorry but you’ve lost a customer today, with your actions #pnefc

@SkyFootball Thanks Sky 16 of us have booked to go to Charlton v PNE now you swapped it to Sunday lunch you have forced us all to sleep underneath the arches u could of Chose a bigger type fixture instead like you usually do #pnefc
— Rob moss (@bangerbob1) September 27, 2019
Fully understand why #pnefc fans are livid with the @efl & @SkyFootball, since most of the league hate #teamslikepreston moving a London away game to 12 Midday on Sunday shows they really dont give one. Hope @pnefc strongly objected. #pnefc

Once again the fans are screwed,PNE fans must be hopping mad over this, but show me a club that puts its fans 1st in this league, the clubs sold their soul to sky a long time ago,and we pay the price.
