Some news none of us wanted to hear. Lyle Taylor could be out for this Saturday’s game after discovering a stomach muscle issue which he is checking out with a scan today and hopefully, he will be fit and ready for the Doncaster visit as he is the playmaker and goal scorer Charlton have been screaming out for, for a long time.
So far Lyle Taylor’s career has been great for us and for him as he has netted 8 goals in 15 games. The Montserrat man has also become an instant fan favourite because of his actions on and off the pitch as he launched a campaign for Cancer Research which saw him dye his hair pink and raising over £10,000 pounds in a very successful campaign as fans alike joined in with the pink hair and support for Lyle.
Lyle has only been here since June but I think he suits Charlton very well. He’s a great player on the pitch and a great person off the pitch. Let’s hope for Lyle that the injury is not something that’s going to keep him out of Saturday’s game. Good luck Lyle!
