Lee Bowyer on a very important role

|

Another fantastic away following from The Valley faithful on Saturday afternoon against West London’s Queens Park Rangers as the supporters never stopped singing!

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer heaped the praise on the fans after the 2-2 draw on the weekend as he states he is “lucky” to have fans like us.

“I’m a lucky manager to have a group like that. Since I’ve been in charge they’ve been unbelievable home and away.

“They were the same last year and they’ve been like that again this season. They just get behind the lads. They’ve obviously taken on board what I’ve said, in that they play an important part in our results. They didn’t stop singing and they helped us get that point at the end.”

It’s all because of the great work Bowyer and his backroom team have done with the squad I would hate to think where we would be right now without them.

Our brilliant manager always urges us to sing and show our support to our group of players because he knows it wins games when we sing our hearts out he makes us feel like we are on the pitch ourselves doing some of the work and it feels great just having a manager like Lee Bowyer.

Obviously he’s not going to be here forever so let’s just never stop singing let’s never stop our support of the lads because we are Charlton and we never say die!
