With keepers Nicky Weaver and Rob Elliot both injured Callum Christie is set to be handed another start in our next pre-season friendly with Dulwich Hamlet on Wednesday.

As Weaver strained his anterior cruciate ligament in the warm up before Saturday’s friendly with Brighton (to then be replaced by Christie) and Elliot strained a knee ligament in an Addicks XI against Grays on the same day both will be out for a while so Christie, who is only 17, looks set to be given another chance at Dulwich.

Both keepers should be back before the season begins, whilst Darren Randolph is on loan with Hereford for the season and it is not yet known if he would be able to be recalled if required? At Vital Hereford they’re not sure what the situation is click here.
