Great news regarding Lee Bowyer’s contract

|

It’s been a long time coming, but we are finally getting some great news regarding Lee Bowyer’s contract.

After a sketchy summer that led us to believe Lee Bowyer had left the club Charlton fans went into uproar until the next morning when it was announced that he had signed a one-year deal.

Matt Southall revealed today that he has offered Lee Bowyer a five-year deal, hearing things like this is so refreshing after years of neglect under Roland.

“Our strategy is a long-term one. With that in mind, we have offered Lee a five-year deal.”

We never would have heard things like this under Roland’s reign of the club, everything was short term with him, but now we have an ambitious chairman in place with excited owners getting prepared for a bright future here at The Valley.

I can’t wait to hear something or learn some more about His Excellency Tahnoon Nimer as he seems like an interesting character judging by his social media posts, all we have on him so far is that he is the Chairman of The Private Office of H. H. Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, plus he runs 60 successful compies worldwide which always good to hear.

Our new owners clearly know what they are doing and I trust the future with them to be glorious, we finally have our club back!
