“Goodbye and good luck” Charlton fans react to latest set back in the squad

|

One man who has had quite a disastrous start to life at Charlton is Israeli international Beram Kayal who is set to be out for another 7-8 weeks after being sent back to Brighton to receive treatment on his injury.

Now Charlton manager Lee Bowyer faces a dilemma ahead of the January transfer window, as Charlton fans believe that we should send Kayal back to Brighton for good after his latest setback joins a handful of injury problems since his arrival in August.

I was personally very excited to see the former Celtic man in a Charlton shirt, I was willing to wait for him because I know he’s a great player, however, it has taken the most unfortunate turn and he adds to the 13 man injury list that is currently crippling the squad, maybe it is time for him to go back to Brighton?

With money being spent in January it could see a new permanent midfielder joining the ranks, fans have already been looking around for clues on who that might be and the two names who are currently on the free-agent market have already cropped up they are Vurnon Anita and former Palace man Jordan Mutch who has been playing in South Korea the past year making 8 appearances and scoring once for Gyeongnam FC, judging by that alone he’s not really someone we should be looking at.

Anita seems more like someone we might actually go for in the free market if money is a problem this January, the former Leeds United and Newcastle United midfielder has 106 Premier League appearances under his belt and he’s 30-years-old too he will bring in some experience which is always good.

Charlton fans took to Twitter earlier today to make their thoughts heard about this situation we find ourselves in, here is what you all had to say!
