Charlton boss, Alan Pardew has confirmed that he believes that his center-half Madjid Bougherra will depart the London side for pastures new very shortly.
Real Betis have been linked with the Algerian all summer and Pardew admitted that the Spanish side looked Bougherra’s likely destination.
Pardew told the offical Charlton site: ‘Betis have been in the frame for a long time. Madjid will probably be sold, I think.’
The Charlton manager also went on to say that he expects to lose another two first team stars. Fans hearing this will fear the worst with names like Jerome Thomas and Zheng Zhi coming to mind. Pardew also went on to state his belief that he might find it difficult to recruit the players he would like to. Despite this he hopes to make another two additions to the squad.

Are we serious promotion contenders this season im starting to fear not
Another of our more experienced players off! Im concerned who will replace him with? Cranie talk has gone quiet. Will Pards get any of the £2.5m to spend?
If we keep selling players, and experienced ones at that and the only ones (if we get any!) that come through the door are non-league rookies we’ve got no chance of being promotion contenders, if anything we might (although unlikely) be slipping the other way!
i heard that we are now struggling to get £2M for him
