With Rob Elliot ruled out for a month Phil Parkinson is looking for goalkeeping cover as Darren Randolph is the only senior goalkeeper at The Valley at the moment.
Randolph came on for Elliot at half time during the 2-2 draw with Gillingham and Parkinson doesn’t want to run the risk of having to put in an academy goalkeeper should anything happen to Randolph so his priority ahead of the loan transfer window closing on Thursday is to bring in another goalkeeper.
Previously The Addicks boss has brought in loan cover for Elliot and this has seen Randolph overlooked, however the Irish goalkeeper is expected to be given his chance this time.
