Parkinson Post Gillingham

An equaliser meant that we secured a 2-2 draw with Gillingham at The Valley on Saturday, however we should’ve won the game.

Phil Parkinson knows that we should’ve won the game and got back on track following last weeks mauling at Millwall so was disappointed that we’ve only picked up the one point against The Gills at SE7.

Parkinson told BBC London 94.9: “I thought we played well, we had more chances than we’ve had for a long time.

“To come here and be 2-1 down after the result we had last week was difficult.

“It took us a bit longer to get the equalizer than I’d hoped, but after last week’s result it was a difficult one for the lads to deal with.

“We dominated the game and should have won.”

We should’ve won but it could’ve been worse though but for the equaliser so that’s something at least! However we just weren’t good enough and something’s got to change (and quickly) or this season is going to slip away.

A point wasn’t really good enough was it, however this could prove good enough in the end?
