Charlton secure final signing of the transfer window

|

Well that’s it the January transfer window has come to an end. This month has been stressful to say the least, but I’m glad it’s finally over and we have got some more bodies in.

Who is this?

Charlton have signed Birmingham City midfielder David Davis on loan until the end of the season to many Blues fans disappointment as they have shown on social media tonight.

This can only mean good things as they feel they are missing out on a decent player which makes this signing feel rather exciting.

The 28-year-old becomes the sixth loan in the squad which means one loan player will have to be left out of the team as we are only allowed five in a matchday squad, but Lee Bowyer likes to rotate things in midfield so I don’t think this will be much of a problem.

Davis is Birmingham’s longest-serving player alongside Jonathan Grounds having been at St. Andrews since August 2014.

Too early to call but it looked like just the one at the start of the last day.
Yes keeping Taylor is great and I know everyone states he gives 110 percent every game but I just wonder if he is going to throw a big strop this time and hopefully he does not do anything stupid like getting sent off of a number of bookings and also wondering if he states he is “injured”
Of course, wish my concerns are ill-founded but also none of us know how bad his injury is.
Shame we could not get the striker in and a commanding CB even though Bows stating happy with the backline!!!!
Bows seemed upbeat yesterday and he seems very satisfied and wonder what his private thoughts really are!!!
We shall judge the new Owners at the end of the season but IF CAFC avoid relegation that is the main aim and that r-word would be a complete disaster. COYR
