It’s not over yet, Charlton still have more business to do this transfer window as we set our sights on Coventry City midfielder Zain Westbrooke, however, we are not the only ones after his signature as Championship and London rivals Fulham and Queens Park Rangers are also in the running for the 23-year-old according to Football Insider.
Westbrooke has made 21 appearances in the league this season, netting four times and providing two assists while playing in the Sky Blue of Coventry who are currently playing their home games at Birmingham City’s ground St. Andrews.
It’s understood that Coventry will do all they can to hold on to Westbrooke, but they also understand that many Championship sides are keen on securing his services.
Zain was let go by Brentford back in 2018 and since then Westbrooke has managed to cement himself a place in the first-team as City look to gain promotion to the Championship this season as they currently occupy sixth place in the league.
