Charlton linked with highly-rated attacking midfielder

|

The Addicks have been linked with Plymouth Argyle attacking midfielder, Ruben Lameiras according to Plymouth Live as the Portuguese man looks to leave the newly relegated League Two side after interest from a host of clubs.

THE FACTS

Lamieras netted 12 goals in all competitions last season, providing 6 assists in the process and could prove to be a valuable member of a team like Charlton as we search to replace Jonny Williams and Ben Reeves in the attacking midfielder role.

Lamerias started his career at Tottenham Hotspur where he failed to make a first-team appearance and was sent on loan to Swedish side Atvidaberg where he played 14 games. After that Coventry picked him up as he was released from Spurs and he played a big part in Coventry’s EFL Trophy win.

After Coventry was relegated to League Two Lameiras left for Plymouth on a free as his contract expired, where he made a big impact in the team for the two seasons he has been a Pilgrims player and looks like he could be set to leave on a free for the third time in his career.

MY OPINION

this could prove to be one of the best signings of the season if we manage to get him, he is quick and he can open up play with the way he moves and on top of all of that, he knows how to find the back of the net.

If he can keep up last season’s form then we got ourselves a great player on our hands.
