Charlton fans will get their voices heard as EFL plans to meet with supporters but not until the season starts

|

After some crazy events on the weekend which led to some media attention on this terrible situation going on down at Charlton, the fans will finally get their voices heard by the EFL as the governing body plans to meet up with supporters groups CAST and CARD so we can shed some real light on the situation.

Can you get 10/10 on this Charlton Premier League Years Quiz? I bet you can’t, but feel free to prove us wrong!

What year did Charlton first play in the Premier League?

The thing is if this was happening at a team like Arsenal or Manchester United it would be massive news, but because it’s happening to us the best Sky Sports can do is shorten a 6-minute interview with loads of extra footage to a measly 42 seconds and call it a story, it really is disgraceful, but we have got at least some attention that we need to move this situation to its conclusion.

The meeting was arranged last week before the protests took place, however, it’s not set to take place until mid-September which is ridiculous seeing as the season starts on the 12th of September, it needs to be earlier than that so we have a chance this season to put together a good squad.

It does look like we will be fielding a lot of kids for the start of the season, seeing as nothing might not be able to be sorted out until the season has kicked off.

I just don’t see why The EFL don’t see this as a matter of urgency, they are continuing to disrespect the fans of not just us but everyone as this whole movement is to help football as a whole, maybe after this news stage three might actually be taking place to help speed up the process.
