“Would make a good trio with Jacko and Bow” – Charlton fans discuss the possibility of 32-year-old taking on future coaching role

|

Charlton captain Jason Pearce is entering the backend of his footballing career, but it doesn’t mean his career in football is over just yet, in fact it’s far from over as many fans will have seen from social media over the past year Pearce is taking his coaching badges.

Can you get 31/31 on this Charlton player of the year quiz? I bet you can’t, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Who won player of the year in 2020?

Not only has Pearce been captaining the first-team he has also coached the U15s and U16s and on top of that he has also taken up scouting where he has reached level 3 in the PSFA.

Pearcey is a true leader on and off the pitch, his commitment he has shown to his football clubs over the years is brilliant and he has also become a captain at just about every club he has been at which just screams out future manager/coach to me!

I think he would make a great fit in the set-up at Charlton, obviously, financial woes could stop that from ever happening, but if our future is secure behind closed doors then I would love to see Pearcey take up a coaching role in SE7.

We asked the fans if they would be happy to see Pearce in the backroom at Charlton and here is what you all had to say!
