Since he got his recognition by the club and fans last season Gallen has been a regular in the proceedings at Charlton and one of the main talking points, not often you get that with a head of recruitment.
He has gone on to become a hero in Charlton fan’s eyes and is seen as a god behind the scenes by the supporters for his knowledge of lesser-known players and making them something in the game by bringing them to Charlton.
Unfortunately, Gallen has always had to work his way through the free-agent or loan market so his capabilities in the transfer market have been slim, to say the least, and that is all down to the lack of support they have been given over the years.
Steve Gallen spoke to BBC London Sport and he explained how he wants stability and more support from whoever comes into takeover Charlton.
