The hero of the day is young academy graduate Alfie Doughty! He completed Charlton’s come back this afternoon against Bristol City in a 3-2 win in front of The Valley faithful.
It’s our first win in twelve games and it feels amazing to say that the drought is finally over and it looks like our fortunes might be on the turn.

Doughty as always had a great game this afternoon and also scored his first Charlton goal after Macauley Bonne delivered a cross into the box and Alfie bundled it in past the Bristol City keeper Daniel Bentley on the 82nd minute.
I can really see this kid going far for us, we just need to put him on a decent contract and tie him down because I’ve been a fan of his since the Forest Green game I saw something in his quick play and his hard work is certainly paying off.
I’m really excited to see more of this lad, trust me he is going to be massive for us!
