A great win against Leeds United was a fantastic way to top off the weekend, unfortunately, there is always a hidden bad side towards everything good and now we know what the bad side to this game was.
According to The Sun The FA are set to investigate Kiko Casilla for alleged racism against Charlton youngster Jonathan Leko who is on-loan from West Brom.
Obviously I hope none of this is true, but if it is Casilla needs a hefty ban put in place to show that The FA take racism seriously.
Racism has always been in football, but recently it has been a massive problem.
Thankfully I have never seen or heard any racist behaviour at The Valley before, but on the field abuse is just totally unacceptable especially from a footballer who is probably some kid’s role model.
He is certainly sending out the wrong message on how to behave as a footballer.
Hopefully, the right decision is made on this situation to show there is no place for it in football.
