Premier League Vultures Circle!

Ademola Lookman, having burst onto the first-team scene with Charlton this season, is one of the major pluses of this season with Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea all looking on admiringly according to the Mirror.

Liverpool and Arsenal are also being linked but Chelsea are reportedly ‘leading the chase’ for the 18-year-old who has scored three-goals in seven-matches since making his Charlton debut just last month after being ‘fast tracked’ into the Addicks first-team.

For what they’re (contracts) worth he’s got a deal at SE7 until 2017 but rumour has it a new and improved long-term deal is something the club want to tie him down to.

It’s looking likely to be a long struggle through the winter and during the second half of the season, if Charlton lose one of the (some might some the only) shining lights from this campaign so far it could get even harder!

The minutes Tony Watt made his, slightly surprising, exit from Charlton for Cardiff before the emergency loan transfer window closed the likelihood of him returning to the Valley seemed quite slim in light of his rapid exit.

If the BBC are correct then a ‘deal is in place’ for him to turn his loan move, which is scheduled to run until the middle of next month, into a permanent one when the transfer window reopens in January so that’ll be another striker down!
