Parkinson Post Yeovil

Charlton ended a poor run of matches without a win with an important one against Yeovil Town on Saturday at The Valley.

Phil Parkinson knows how important this win was and hopes that this gets us back on track as he felt we showed signs of this, Parkinson told BBC London 94.9: “It was a big win for us, we have not being playing well recently.

“Today we got back to passing the ball and having more composure in our playing.

“We got a clean sheet and one of the reasons for that is because we passed the ball more to each other. We got back to a resemblance of how I know we can play.”

Leeds United’s own poor run continued, had we been taking advantage of this before we’d have been second in League 1 at worse but we’re still in that battle.

Well played…good passing…pressured Yeovil…two excellant goals.now we need to keep pressure up by beating Brighton…who are improving under Gus Poyet

Hi Rufus…exactly…back to sqare one…my concern is that both Brightn,s goals were excellant long range efforts…however with more concentration and putting pressure on the Brighton players, both goals were preventable…we need to close the opposition down, not fall asleep
