Parkinson Post Huddersfield

We were looking at another defeat on Saturday before we secured a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town.

Kyle Reid rescued us a point against The Terriers, in a match that we missed several key players. However Phil Parkinson felt that we deserved the important point, Parkinson told BBC London 94.9: “It was an important point for us and well deserved.

“It was a very disciplined performance, coming into the game without our two top scorers, Deon Burton and Nicky Bailey.”

It’s a point won in the end as opposed to two points lost, however with Leeds United being beaten again we’ve missed another opportunity to close the gap on them. You could argue that technically we have done this with the point, so in some ways perhaps we can’t be that critical?

Like Parky I’m happy enough with a point, even if I would’ve wanted all three of course.
