Lloyd Sam explains why he’s rather not have any time off for next week’s internationals as he looks back at Charlton’s third win in a row.
‘We`ve won three on the bounce after losing three in a row and it`s strange because the games we`ve won were probably tougher than the ones we lost. I suppose it`s just that we weren`t getting the luck.
‘In the two previous matches we`ve played well but left it right until the end when Chris Iwelumo has twice scored in the last minute. So it was nice to be 2-0 up at half time and have a bit of breathing space.
‘That`s three clean sheets in a row, the team is playing well and the spirit is great. All our focus is on getting promoted and we`re happy to be up there at the top to be shot at. Of course I`d like to establish myself as a regular Premiership player, but let`s just get there first.’

Even players don’t like the international break!!!!
Same old story, get some decent wins under your belt then along comes a break, typical!!!
It’s a royal pain in the you know what, and rarely seems to come at the right time. But it’s something we have become used to haven’t we?
Can’t use it as an excuse though LOL We’ll be fine!! 🙂
