Lee Bowyer charged by The FA for improper conduct

|

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer has today been charged by The Football Association for improper conduct after Wednesday’s defeat to Swansea City.

Apparently Bowyer was angry with the referee after the defeat and also complained to the ref in the tunnel which led to certain comments being said. Comments also took place on the pitch after a couple of penalty shouts went astray.

Personally I think that there should be a rule in place defending refs from getting abused which there is, however I also think that managers giving their opinions on how the ref conducted the game should be allowed because sometimes losing points or gaining points could all be down to what the ref thinks is right, but went it turns out that the ref has, in fact, got something wrong and a manager turns around and says they got it wrong, I don’t think any further action should be taken yet they find them anyway.

The problem with The FA is that they will poke their noses into anything they possibly can to find a reason to fine someone, it’s just a bit annoying really.

Charlton have until 6pm on Wednesday to respond. Looks like Bowyer’s break is getting put on hold.

This time think they make Bows the target and think he was warned to his future conduct, but wish all Managers are treated equally???? and in the so-called Premiership, but they get away with it time and again.
