Dean Kiely cannot wait to return to The Valley next season with his current club West Brom.

Deano was a fans favourite during his time at the club and the former Addicks player of the year can’t wait to return after Charlton were such a great club for him.

West Brom had a strong season last year and only missed out on a return to The Premiership after losing to Derby in the play off final at Wembley. With the Addicks being relegated it means Charlton and West Brom will be playing each other next season.

We visit The Hawthorns on December 15, and we welcome Deano back home to The Valley on March 22.

Deano, who made 248 appearances for Charlton during six-and-a-half years at The Valley, said: ‘I was looking out for the Charlton fixtures because it was a great club for me.

‘I really enjoyed my time there and a really positive memory for me was when I went back as an opposing player with Portsmouth and got an overwhelming reception.

‘It is a great place for me to go back to and play football so I am looking forward to it.’
