Some worrying news from the past couple days regarding Connor Gallagher has some substance to it as Burnley are plotting a move for the 19-year-old.
Gallagher has been one of if not our best player so far this season scoring goals and standing as a strong figure in possession.
According to The Daily Mail Gallagher has been scouted by Burnley and Sean Dyche is keen on the young midfielder.
If the opportunity comes along I don’t think Chelsea will turn it down, because he could play in the Premier League and make an impact in a team like Burnley which does make this rumour sound like it could well happen.
Scoring six goals in 22 games is very impressive for someone who’s only just made their professional debut in senior football and the sky is the limit for young Gallagher.
If this happens Charlton will need to step up the pursuit of Herbie Kane and try to get him on a permanent deal, but having both of them would be the dream!
