“How can the EFL allow this to happen” – Charlton fans react after latest takeover news

|

In these tough times of uncertainty, the one who have been taking the brunt of this joke the club have become are the fans and right now there are two sets of fans, the ones who are feeling hopeful and the ones who believe the club are still in a sinking ship with this new takeover.

Can you get 31/31 on this Charlton player of the year quiz? I bet you can’t, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Who won player of the year in 2020?

I’m probably in between those two sets at the moment as much as I want to feel hopeful about this and celebrate the news I’m putting the champagne on hold because of how I know how things can go and if it wasn’t dodgy enough it’s a consortium headed up by Tahnoon Nimer’s lawyer Chris Farnell.

Are you happy with the latest takeover news?

Yes

No

It really is a very uncertain situation we are in, I don’t think any of us can really predict what’s going to happen next, but I’m just hoping for some stability in the club and even if these lot sell off the club in the next few months to some worthy buyer then hopefully we will be in a good position this time next year and Chris Farnell will have a part to play in the club rising from the ashes.

Very wishful thinking I know, but I’m a positive person I can’t help it.

Now let’s take a look at what the fans have been saying about this situation on Twitter!
