Like most people you notice things on the Internet and certainly notice news on Vital Football, this is when I saw that Frazer Richardson had been injured.
This isn’t something that should really concern us is it as Richardson left Charlton for Southampton a week or so ago, however he injured his shoulder during a pre-season training camp and has returned to England for surgery on this injury which could keep him out for up to three-months by all accounts?
I was disappointed to see the defender leave SE7 but this was something that had to be done due to our financial situation, I’m sure that some will take pleasure from this injury but I know that I won’t and I’ll wish the 27-year-old well in his recovery.

While it is not our concern, I feel sorry for Richardson, who I think was always a wholehearted player, for our cause. To sustain a srious injury at a new Club, before you play your first league game for them, is very sad. Whether or not, I feel sorry for Southampton and Pardew, is another matter entirely!
Shame, I feel for Frazer even though he’s not one of ours any longer. Best of luck in the recovery, I wonder if that’s a blessing in disguise though really? Would it have happened had he stayed though?
