Dijksteel Leaves- The Roland Out Petition

|

In a time where we need about five players to have an alright squad size, we are once again selling. It was confirmed via a picture posted on Twitter last night that right-back Anfernee Dijksteel has signed for Middlesbrough for an unconfirmed fee as of this moment of the time believed to be around the £2million mark.

I feel that we could have kept hold of him if our billionaire owner would have spared some cash to put into his new contract, but instead of keeping hold of him Duchatelet opted for the money route once again. We should be keeping hold of players like this I know our financial situation right now is dire, but the annoying thing is, is that it doesn’t have to be Roland could solve all our problems and it wouldn’t affect him one bit it would be like a drop in the ocean to the Belgian.

That is why I have set up a Petition  for the EFL to take a look at Roland’s ownership of the club and also to see if any dodgy dealings have been going on involving Roland and the future of the club. I am scared for the future of the Charlton we just keep on offloading our players all the time and no money gets pumped back into the club, which is just disgraceful it feels as though he is robbing us.

I know that he is the owner he can do what he wants with the money, but come on surely, he can’t be doing it to the extent that he is. The amount of money he has drained from the club is a joke and something needs to be done about it, his cuts range from staff bonuses to players drinking water. Our owner certainly acts like he hasn’t got a penny to rub together.

So sign the petition get the numbers up and then hopefully we get recognised by the EFL and they can investigate Roland’s ownership.

    IMO It’s not the money he’s drained from the club (in fact the opposite he’s putting just enough in to keep it afloat) it’s a business being run so badly with no investment, by an owner who says he wants to sell, but is dragging his feet in doing so.

    In the mean time, the under valued sale of the players that’s been proved by the subsequent massive steep rise in their value, + no ambition, that’s undermining the club and wrecking fan moral. I also agree with MW’s post and I’m sorry but I can’t see the EFL being in a position to do anything about all this. But I’m 100% united with you in Roland Out and yesterday’s not bloody soon enough!

    Having supported Charlton since 1947 and travelled up from Basingstoke for many of those I find it abhorrent that one man can cause all this mayhem. He said he would sell the club for £1 but then reneged on (allegedly}
    an offer of £30 million. Our club deserves better. Get him out.

    I have supported Charlton for so many years when Billy Bonds was wearing the No 2, David Whyte scoring goals for fun and Clive Mendonca hitting the net every week shirt such a shame the way the club has been handled. Charlton is such a great family club and deserves better, I am so fed up with players going on the cheap and how I wish we had a decent owner.

    Lee is A GREAT MANAGER and has motivated the squad and I just hope Charlton has a happy ending I wait with baited breathe.
