Charlton receive huge boost ahead of relegation battle with Hull

|

Just four days to go until Charlton kick-off the season again against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium as Cornoavirus brought the season to a halt, but now we look forward to the return of football, one thing that is going to be putting the fans and players under pressure is the fact we are in a relegation battle.

15. 61 goals

Charlton have just received news that four of Hull’s players are refusing to play the rest of the season and they are Marcus Maddison, Eric Lichaj, Jackson Irvine and Stephen Kingsley which could play a huge part in who goes up or down this season, but I think it’s safe to say Charlton’s bid for survival has been given a big boost.

The news doesn’t stop there though, Barnsley who are also in this battle loaned out Malik Wilks to Hull City and they have now said he can’t play on after June 30th so that weakens them for the future games even more than what they are now.

After this news I do feel more confident going into the Hull fixture and hopefully, they are still on the same form they were on when the season ended.

I do condemn their actions though and I think that they have done the wrong thing, although it’s worked in our favor so I’m not complaining.
