Charlton receive another big boost ahead of season restart

|

Charlton Athletic have today announced that every single player who is out of contract will see out the season with the club and that will be massive for the team going into the Hull City game.

Can you get 20/20 on this Charlton Academy Players quiz? I bet you can’t, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Who is this?

I’m sure there are smiles all round in the camp at the moment, every single one of those players knows what they need to do and who they are going to do it with, it must calm the nerves and provide a sense of comfort to them knowing all of them will be there to fight till the end.

If I’m honest I would have thought this situation would have taken a classic Charlton turn and a few players would not be playing the rest of the season and will just leave after June, but thankfully I have been proved wrong on this situation.

Who knows if there was a little help from Paul Elliott on this part but if there was, then good on him, but I think we all know who the real mastermind behind all this was and that is none other than the Director of Football Steve Gallen.

Gallen spoke to the club’s official website ahead of Charlton relegation clash against Hull City and here is what he had to say

“It has been a surreal few months with a lot of challenges but I’m very pleased we’ve been able to get everything sorted ahead of tomorrow’s restart. The squad is looking good and the players are excited to be getting back on the pitch.”

I really hope Steve never leaves Charlton. Sometimes I’d hate to think what would happen if we never had someone who works as hard as he does, the man deserves to be in the Charlton hall of fame in the future without a doubt.

Let’s hope this boost can help the lads bring all three points back to South-London in the most important game so far this season, COME ON YOU REDS!!!
