Last night a certain someone (Richard Cawley) got us all excited, we were losing sleep over this potential transfer and we were just forking out anyone with the name John. Well after searching the internet for hours on end we thought it was either Jonathan Kodija or Jonson Clarke-Harris, where either one would have been great signings.
Have we got a "J…..J……."
"John?"
"Yes!!!! That's his first name."— Richard Cawley (@RichCawleySLP) August 7, 2019
The deal I tweeted about last night – without a name – was West Brom's Jonathan Leko. #cafc Believe that is another one which is moving towards fruition.

But as the clock ticks down and so does our patience, we finally found out this morning that the player we are looking at is Jonathan Leko. Yeah quite underwhelming when you had those two names thrown in the bag, but still it’s not the player that’s underwhelming it’s just the fact that Roland has most likely pocketed the money whilst we are in dire straits.
Okay I’ll be honest I fully expected that to happen, but now that’s out of the way let’s talk about Jonathan as a player. Leko has not seen much goal action for a striker he has played 25 professional games and scored a resounding nothing. No worries Bowyer and his team will fix that if he is willing to learn and integrate with the team I’m sure the goals will come.
He was at a good side in Bristol City last season, but unfortunately, he never got off the mark in his 11 appearances. Hopefully, this is the move that will change his career for the better.
