They might have stuttered towards it at times but Charlton picked up another win on Saturday to extend an unbeaten run and maintain a good place in the League 1 table.

Beating Yeovil Town 3-2 at The Valley was a good result, however Addicks assistant manager Tim Breaker admits that the performance wasn’t the best, Breaker said: “It was a good result for us, but obviously the performance wasn’t as great as we would have liked.”

Breacker is taking confidence from the fact that this may well be seen as a good sign that things are looking up?

It’s often said that good sides can win even when they do not play well so The Addicks could be falling into that mould, adding: “Maybe it’s a sign of a good team that when things aren’t quite flowing, as they did last week at Peterborough, that we still pick up the three points.”
