Bowyer provides an update on the Jonson Clarke-Harris deal

|

There is not long until the January transfer window slams shut and Charlton manager Lee Bowyer is probably feeling as anxious as we are going into the final two days with only Andre Green coming through the door, who got his first Addicks goal against Preston twelve days ago.

Who won player of the year in 2020?

I have been told that the training ground has been closed to the public for the next couple days, which must mean some new signings are coming through the door, with Jonson Clarke-Harris expected to be one of them alongside Marcus Maddison who seems to be taking an age to sign the deal, if he will sign the deal that is.

Speaking of Jonson Clarke-Harris, Lee Bowyer also debunked te rumours of Charlton putting in a million-pound bid for the Bristol Rovers star striker while talking with Richard Cawley from The South London Press

“It’s unfair to talk about other players but I can tell you now that we haven’t made a million-pound bid for anyone.”

Would you like Jonson Clarke-Harris at Charlton?

Yes

No

After the stories that came out yesterday regarding the bid made by Charlton you would have thought it would be the full truth seeing as Richard Cawley and Bristol Live reported it, but mistakes get made by everyone.

Who was Charlton's first-ever manager?

Although Bowyer has mentioned that he hasn’t made a million-pound bid for him, it does not mean he hasn’t made a bid it just could be a lower figure, but if that million-pound bid is expected to be rejected by Rovers we could see a lot more money put on the table as times could get desperate at Sparrows Lane.

Let’s hope we don’t get ourselves into another Josh Parker situation.
