Bowyer contract news

|

Lee Bowyer and Johnnie Jackson have done a fine job this season if I say so myself, going against all odds to ‘secure’ Charlton a playoff spot without spending a penny. Imagine what they could do with some money behind them, well now we may get to find out next season if Roland sells up but that’s not what we are here to talk about today.

Lee Bowyer has been speaking with Richard Cawley of the South London Press and he had something very hopeful to tell us

“I had a text last night that something is going to be put to me next week, I don’t know when next week. We’ll see what is offered and go from there.”

Obviously a lot can’t be said about the subject matter, but now that we know an offer is being put forward for Lee Bowyer to extend his stay as Charlton manager I think things will finally start looking up in the contract department aa a few players will defiantly follow Bowyer by extending their deals, Anfernee Dijksteel shouldn’t be too far away now from my understanding and once we see some of those players sign back on hopefully we can see Joe Aribo do the same, although he is the biggest long shot of the lot after he had been attracting interest from Arsenal during the week and he could be going that way.
