The Addicks have eight games left this season, to achieve their aim of 12 more points and possible safety.
Talking to the official site Pardew said:”We need four more wins, no less, the job is for us to do, not anybody else and we can do it.
‘We have got another home game coming up against Wigan and we need to win, although I thought that four points was imperative from the Newcastle and Wigan games and we have already got three.
‘So if we can get six that will be very, very pleasing – but I would still settle for one against Wigan.
‘Once this break is over we are into six games in 29 days, this is our season now.
‘We have had two wins and a draw in our last three games, so we are in good shape.’
Pardew was quick to point out that the games at home will play a big part in Charlton’s survival bid and the fans can help us avoid relegation.
‘The Valley is the key. When we say home, it is not just about the ground, it is about the fans, it is about the positive attitude that they are coming in with and how that generates to the players.
‘We are not showing any nerves and that is a good sign.
‘We are scoring goals and we are threatening to score more goals.’
The current form of the reds is very encouraging and this week`s game at home to Wigan could be a big deciding factor!

People do you think 12 points will be enough to save us this year? Im not so sure considering it will leave us short of the magic 40. What do you think?
I had you down for a 2-0 win last week, and i think you can win this week aswell, so if sheff utd, wigan or city lose it will be squeaky bum time down the bottom (no pun intended) of the prem.
I think with our current form will take 3 points this weekend aswell. who do you think will take the plunge?
I think were need at least 4 wins and considering our goal diff is so poor then you have to say thats another point less

Out of all the run ins our is the more favourable but lets face it, theres no easy game in the prem. at the end of the day it will come down to who has the most bottle.
After the wigan result we can do it, i know we can.
