From what I’m hearing right now Sheffield United are interested in putting a bid together for Charton’s star striker Lyle Taylor, a contract war looms as January is fast approaching.
Thankfully with the money we have, we do indeed possess a great chance of securing Lyle on a decent deal, the only downside is that United offer Premier League football which could play a huge part once they put a bid in.

Lyle is 29-years-old now and any chance he’s going to get of playing in the top flight, he will seriously consider it without a doubt and you have to understand that as fans and as people that this could be his last chance to do something like that.
Of course, none of us want him to go, he is loved here by every single one of us and we will continue to support him as fans.
With just six months left on his current deal, it could be an absolute steal for Sheffield United, but with the support and love our fans give it won’t be something he can walk away from easily.
