Karel Fraeye`s first game in charge and it`s a big one, a very big test is awaiting Charlton after Middlesbrough came out winners against Manchester United in midweek holding them to a 0-0 draw and then beating them on penalties.
Now unfortunately we have to face them and see what kind of result is going to come out of this one and I`m not looking forward to it.

There has been positive vibes among the Charlton camp and Simon Makienok gave a positive interview in midweek about how the new manager is and what is to come as he looks for a positive result against Middlesbrough, he seems like the only one who is being positive which is rare from a loan player showing as much passion as he is.

Also more negative news Tony Watt has not scored a league goal for more than 755 minutes which is understandable seeing as he has been about as negative as I have been recently.
Charlton have not won against Middlesbrough since 2006 which ended in a 2-1 win at the Riverside with Darren Bent scoring both and Mark Viduka grabbing one for Middlesbrough so that has been 10 games since our last win against the boro.

In team news mainly everyone is fit again but Igor Vetokele is just nearing full fitness so is a doubtful for Saturdays match.
For Middlesbrough first team keeper Dimi Konstantopoulos is likely to return between the posts and new signing Bruno Zuculini could start.

This is going to be a tough one for the Addicks but we have a new manager now and that could bring in a fresh atmosphere to the squad I`m hoping for a draw but let`s see how that plays out.

What do you think the score will be?
