Speaking to the Official Site in his post game press conference the gaffer knew defensive errors had seriously let us down on the day and he was disappointed that we hadn’t managed to clock up three straight wins.

One thing he did want to say though was that for him, the scoreline didn’t reflect the 90 minutes that had been played as our performance was better than three nil suggested.

Answering the question of what was the main difference between both sides on the day, he said.

‘The efficiency, clearly. It`s unbelievable that we didn`t make a goal and it`s unbelievable they scored three from their opportunities. I think that sums up the game.’

As for the goals we conceded.

‘I think there was definitely a foul for the first one. There is no discussion about it. The first goal is very, very important and I don`t think it should have been given. There was a hand in Chris Solly`s face and everyone saw there was foul. Only one man didn`t see it and it`s a pity for us because we conceded the goal and I don`t think we were under any pressure. The second one, OK, we can look at ourselves and say we had a bad moment. It was our own doing and we conceded the second and the third when we were pressing.’

With much being said about Johnnie Jackson’s introduction in the game against Fulham, Fraeye was asked if going off with injury had the opposite effect on Saturday in terms of deflating the team.

‘Of course, it`s a blow. Johnnie is the heart of the team. When he`s off the pitch we feel it, but I still believe that we managed a good performance and we deserve more than to lose 3-0. It`s too early to say how bad the injury will be, but we will find out more on Monday.’

One big positive from the game for him was the performance of Ademola Lookman on his home debut, and Fraeye added.

‘Absolutely, he was very lively. Very good. Also players like Ricardo Vaz Te managed a good performance up front. It`s good to have some competition up front.’
