Here it is it`s the big one tonight probably the biggest game of the season as it will be our only south London derby this season and of course we all want the joy of beating Palace in their own backyard.

All the players for both sides are very pumped for this one but if our normal showing in games of this stature continue from past games we could be in for an absolute shocker of a game but hopefully with this new side Luzon has put together we can bounce back and become the dominate team in south London once again starting with this game.

The last three times we have met palace in this cup they have beaten us hopefully this time we can turn the tide of these lot and put some real passion and heart in to this game which the fans have been dying for in recent years.

There was a time where we were the dominate team but it only lasted for two seasons in 2004-2005 we beat Place at Selhurst Park with Dennis Rommedahl striking home in the 90th minute to give us the 1-0 win, then there was that famous 2-2 draw which sent Palace back down to the Championship in their 4th consecutive premier league relegation.
Then there was the Championship days back in 2007-2008 where we managed the double over them first at Selhurst with Sevetoslav Tododrov scoring a 74th minute winner and then there was the one at The Valley in front of a near sold out crowd, Luke Varney completed the double over Palace that season with a double himself scoring in the 60th and 87th minute.

In team news Franck Moussa could be making his way back to the first team after a horrid 10 months of injury whist Christian Ceballos and Simon Makinenok are out injured and Reza is on his to making a return.

With Palace Marouane Chamakh is out injured with a hamstring problem and Joel Ward is out with a knee injury and finally Scott Dann is a doubtful with a calf problem.

And now we come to the present day where Crystal Palace are the most dominate team in south London at the moment as they sit in the heights of the Premier League in 8th position while we are struggling to get back in form but will this game be a season maker for us?

Im not expecting much from this game but if I was to put a prediction down I would say 1-0 Charlton and we really need this win.

What are your predictions?
