Charlton suffer killer blow in race for striker

|

Transfer deadline is approaching fast and with the number of times we have failed to secure any new players this transfer window, it’s no wonder the fans are starting to get extremely nerve-wracked as we enter the final 24 hours at 11pm tonight.

Who won player of the year in 2020?

Another striker has got away, this time it’s not in our hands but the only hands it is in is Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho as he has opted to keep Troy Parrott rather than sending him out on loan according to Football Insider as star striker Harry Kane is out injured.

The 17-year-old Republic of Ireland international could have kick-started his professional career nice and easy with us, he would have almost been guaranteed first-team game time here as our lack of players really affects us going forward and a new striker is needed if we are to keep a consistent goal tally going into each game.

Queens Park Rangers were also interested in the highly-rated attacker.

Jonson Clarke-Harris is still on the table, but we need to move fast in that deal if we are to get anything done before the deadline.
