It was a tough defeat at the Emirates stadium as Charlton lost 6-0 to Arsenal, however, it is just a practice game and we shouldn’t really be reading too much into it, from a side with Arsenal’s quality a result like this was always going to be a possibility.

The players were defiantly glad to get a game at The Emirates and were even happier to get some minutes into them as they prepare for the restart of the season.
The players really need to step it up when the season comes back, first off we have Hull City which is by far our most important game of the season and getting ready for that should be of utmost importance for this Addicks side.
Charlton currently sit 22nd in the league with Hull City two points above the South-London side and with Charlton’s recent blow with Lyle Taylor announcing he will not be coming back to Charlton will boost Hull’s survival hopes.
