Us Charlton fans have not been too happy, well more outraged at how the club is taking a big nose dive in to the relegation places after Championship strugglers Preston destroyed us 3-0 in what was the worst performance I have ever seen from a Charlton side.
So now comes a London derby obviously not our main London rivals but what seems to always happen in London derby is that we lose the team seems to never put effort in to the London derby`s which is a big shame because we know they can do much better than what they put out on the pitch.
Last season we did something similar to what could happen tomorrow afternoon after 13 games without a win we managed to beat Brentford 3-0 against all odds but could that happen again? We all sit here with our hands together praying it will be the same.
In team news Stephen Henderson, Johnnie Jackson, Reza Ghoochannejhad and Simon Makinenok should all feature yes people Hendo is back and after some dismal performances from Pope Henderson is expected to have a warm welcome back between the sticks.
Igor Vetokele and Ahmed Kashi remain injured whilst Alou Diarra serves his suspension and Patrick Bauer returns to the team.
Since our first game with Brentford way back in 1921 we have beaten them 24 times whilst they have managed to win 16 games against us and as that is a good thing we have more to worry about than the record declining as Luzon could well be sacked at the end of this game which will be no surprise to anyone and having another season with different managers will not be good for the teams morale.
With my prediction it`s a negative one this week I think we will lose the game 1-0 im sorry Charlton fans but with the way things are going I can`t even see us beating a Sunday league team.
