Wednesday 5 December marked the 20th anniversary of Charlton’s return to their spiritual home. The event was marked by former players such as Garry Nelson, Brian Kinsey, Steve Gritt, Keith Peacock and Mark Kinsella attending a fans’ meeting at the ground.
The night was organised to officially launch the Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust. The game against Brighton on Saturday will be marked by the fans and Chris Powell breaking into applause at 3.07pm, the time that Colin Walsh scored the first goal on the club’s return home.
