Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer talks after Tuesday`s 1-0 win at Leeds.

Hamer spoke to BBC London 94.9 “It gives us belief. Why can we not breed confidence from this?
“The fixtures are very demanding in this league and we have games Saturday-Tuesday for the rest of the season. There is no rest for the wicked.”

Hamer also said “we are in a predicament at the minute and need all the points we can get. The quicker we are safer the better.”

Ben Hamer was the hero of the night saving a 93rd minute penalty from Ross McCormack as he dived to his right and saved the low shot saving Charlton and grabbing the 3 points for Jose Riga`s side who have kept 5 clean sheets in 7 games with Hamer in goal for all of those games.

Ben Hamer is very optimistic about staying up he strongly believes that Charlton will be a Championship club next season. They have some very crucial games coming up including Yeovil and Barnsley which could decide who goes down at the end of this eventful Championship season.
