Welcome to word on the tweet where we gather the recent goings-on in and around Charlton Athletic on Twitter. On Saturday we played a very physical Accrington Stanley side who we clashed with on a few occasions, so to come away from this tight affair with all three points is a fantastic feeling and here’s how the players reacted-
Nothing like the feeling of being back out there π Good win for us and now onto next week! Thanks to our fans for the support and keeping us going right until the end ππΌ #CAFC pic.twitter.com/fk9Md3Uxxb

Great to see our players coming together like a family, everyone looks so happy as a group and they all know they got each other’s backs which is fantastic! Naby Sarr who is quickly becoming everyone’s favourite player on and off the pitch was pictured with midfielder Jonny Williams and with just that one tweet you can feel the love in that team and that is a recipe for success.

A fantastic picture of Lee Bowyer here, just look at the passion coming off the man!
Disgraceful…How long will it take the @EFL @FA to do the right thing..? #RetrospectivePunishment #cafc https://t.co/xTpUap3eRn

This moment here was absolutely disgraceful from Accrington’s Sam Finley, as you can see he clearly stamps on Lyle Taylor’s head after an altercation with Taylor and the keeper ended with Lyle being bullied to the ground by many of Accrington’s players. Shortly after that Accrington’s keeper was sent off along with Lyle Taylor. Many have said Taylor’s foot was high and it looked like he kicked the keeper, honestly I can’t really see it myself, but we are all hoping the card gets rescinded.
Got over to the see my Charlton yesterday from Ireland. @IgorVetokele was in the club shop, if anybody asks, he asked for a picture with me, not the other way around.@TFS_Charlton @CAFCofficial @ParodyCharlton #CAFC #COYA #COYV #COYR #Charlton pic.twitter.com/5iwri19VzU

Igor Vetokele was in the club shop on Saturday meeting the fans as he has been out injured since the Walsall game in November. Here’s a lucky fan with Igor along with the story of how he met him.

What a great finish to a game that was! Charlton needed the victory and we got it late in the day with a great celebration to end the game with. It’s moments like this that we all live for as Charlton fans.
