Dickson Coming Back to the Valley

The news that we have wanted to hear (haven’t we?) Chris Dickson will be returning to the Valley when his loan at Gillingham ends.

With ten goals in eight matches he has certainly been in form, and the Gills have already expressed an interest in signing him, or at least extending his loan, but both appear to have been ruled out: “Chris is in his final spell on loan with Gillingham and after that he will be returning to Charlton,” Addicks boss Alan Pardew told the media.

“I’m delighted he’s done so well at Gillingham and scored so many goals.

“I sent him to Gillingham to gain experience and he’s got plenty under his belt.”

This is all I need to hear, so hopefully even his latest loan will not be extended and he can get back to the Valley and given a chance.
