Charlton ace is an Actim addict.

Zheng Zhi moved into the top five in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship, with another impressive display in Charlton Athletics’ 2-0 win at Preston North End.

The China international, 27, put the Addicks on the way to a fourth successive win with his fifth goal of the season. He posted 38 points for the game – his second-highest score of the campaign – to rise 13 places to fifth in the Index with 262 points.

It was also his best away score this term taking his away Index to 126 while at home he has registered 137 points.

Zheng is one of five Addicks in the Actim Index top 50 along with Andy Reid (14th), Chris Iwelumo (24th), Nicky Weaver (26th) and Jonathan Fortune (43rd).

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player’s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
