Welcome to word on the tweet where we gather the recent goings-on in and around Charlton Athletic on Twitter. This week has been dominated by the possibility of Karlan Grant going through the exit door at The Valley and many of the fans are worried, to say the least.
Please don’t go @karlangrant.???????? #cafc https://t.co/XwiKJkiobK

@karlangrant dont go! Huddersfield are getting relegated, we are getting promoted, we'll play in the same division next season! But with us you and Lyle will be in our starting 11 but Huddersfield will sign a Charlie Austin player or Tammy Abraham and your be loaned out #Cafc

A joke if he goes, the club and fans stood by him this summer #cafc

Would really be shocked if Karlan left. Would be a stupid decision. Fair enough if he wants to take part in a relegation this year. #cafc

Sell Karlan and it’s goodbye to promotion. Simple as that. #cafc

Whether Karlan Grant or anyone else leaves #cafc in January, the wider issue is that more than a dozen first-team players can walk at the end of the season. Unsigned contract offers are a failure of executive management – unsurprising since its non-existent.

Cannot get my head around why you would swap London for Huddersfield, who are on the verge of relegation. Money does talk I suppose. #cafc

I still don’t think he will be going if im perfectly honest, at least not in this window. Why do you ask? Just take a look at the tweet below.

I mean that just says it all really doesn’t it. I’ve been saying the same thing since the Rangers interest first came about, he is not going anywhere, yes there are lots of rumours floating about most of which are true however, Karlan will definitely be here at least until the end of the season. His future may be out of Lee Bowyer’s hands when it comes to the contract talks, but after everything we have done for him, it would be a massive betrayal if he was to leave now.
Anyway, onto more positive news assistant manager and Charlton legend, Johnnie Jackson tweeted this…
Delighted to announce myself and @bentalbot2 are running the 2019 London Marathon for @DemelzaHospice,a charity close to my heart.
Any donations and RTs would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance JJ X #CAFC https://t.co/N0xhws6jAu— Johnnie Jackson (@johnnie_jackson) January 21, 2019

Just as I thought not much in it, no need to say more on the subject because I’ve been sitting here raging about it the last couple days so don’t get me started!
On the Vital Charlton Twitter page, we had a good look back at two Premier League goals featuring Kevin Lisbie and Claus Jensen.

After Brad Friedel scored his only goal in his career to make it 2-2 to Blackburn, Claus Jensen went straight up the other end and did this! #CAFC pic.twitter.com/C991t8mLER
