Scott Wagstaff has suffered a foot injury that could mean him missing the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Wagstaff was forced off at half time during the 2-2 draw at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, Phil Parkinson said: “He got a whack on his foot and was in quite a lot of pain at half-time.

“Scotty’s a tough lad and he wouldn’t come across with just anything, so we brought him off and we’ll see how he is.”

With five goals so far this season the midfielder is our top goalscorer, however it’s not just his goals that are starting to make him important to us.

Were gonna miss him, but he doesnt get the ball much anyway

He gets plenty of the ball, he’s got the most goals scored so he doesnt need much of the ball to score. He may only be a mid-fielder but he is an important part of the team and i recon we will struggle without him.

He stands on the wing in acres of space calling for it and don’t often get it. Yeah he is a good player but he would be even better if he recieved the ball more

Have to agree, the ball does not alays find it’s way to him…but when in possession he is dangerous…just when you forgot he was even playing he pops up and scores…
